It's rare for someone to live to be 100. It's even rarer for a set of twins to live to be 100. But two twin sisters in Brazil, Maria Pignaton Pontin and Paulina Pignaton Pandolfi, just celebrated their 100th birthday. When news spread of their milestone, photographer Camila Lima contacted the sisters. She wanted to capture their incredible story in photographic form and offered to give the sisters a free birthday photo shoot.
Maria and Paulina agreed, and the result was an adorable birthday photo shoot complete with tutus, flower crowns, and balloons. The sisters, who have 11 children, 31 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren between them, were all smiles during the shoot, indicating that getting older doesn't have to be a bad thing.
